Our main goal is to help you take care of your teeth and health. All procedures and treatment we recommend for you are deemed necessary to address the diagnosis arrived at through examination. Our administrative staff can answer all your questions regarding the cost of your dental care.
If you have dental insurance, we will make every effort to obtain the most accurate and up-to-date information on your coverage. Because our first concern is your well-being, we do not recommend treatment based on insurance coverage nor are our fees determined by your insurance carrier.
You are responsible for any portion of the bill not covered by your insurance so please be prepared to pay estimated co-payments at the time of service. Due to the nature of insurance contracts, we may not know what your exact final costs will be until we receive actual payment from your insurance company. If your insurance pays less than expected, we will bill you for the difference. If your insurance pays more than expected, we will refund you any over-payment.
Additionally, most dental insurance policies include limitations on certain procedures. These limitations are based solely on the financial aspect of your policy and should not be used to determine the care you choose to receive. If you would like to know exactly what your costs will be before proceeding with your dental care, we will be happy to submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance carrier for any treatment recommended.
While it can be frustrating if you expect insurance to cover the whole bill, the costs of dental care can be managed. Become familiar with your dental coverage, do some advance planning, and remember that your health is the most important thing. We are here to answer any questions you may have and we have many years of experience dealing with dental insurance however since we are not a party to your dental contract, we do not have all the answers but we will do our very best to help you get the most from your plan.
Please plan on paying for your dental care at the time of your visit. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. If you have dental insurance, this amount will be an estimate based on available insurance information and may include copays, deductibles and/or non-covered services. You will be billed for any amounts left owing after insurance makes their payment. If insurance pays more than expected, you will receive a refund for any overpayment you have made.
Please feel free to discuss with us in advance what the approximate costs will be for your proposed treatment. However, adjustments may become necessary during the course of treatment that can affect your final costs.
The responsibility for payment of services rendered to dependent children whose parents are divorced rest with the parent seeking treatment. Any court-ordered responsibility judgment must be determined between the individuals involved.
Please let us know if you need to arrange a payment plan that allows you to pay off your balance in installments. For example, if your insurance plan will cover a portion of Invisalign® but you are not able to pay the remaining balance right away, we can help determine a way to pay the remaining balance in installments.
